Job Description

Monitoring

1) Update the website, social media and content pages periodically.

2) Ensure the consistency in posting content and is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws.

3) Measuring and monitoring mall’s website and optimizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) driven content and increase the social media site traffics

4) To conduct daily on market research, identifying publicity opportunities, keep update on any trending news and competitor brands.

5) Analyze and propose to PR Officer any new ways to improve the mall’s social media engagement traffic, such as finding a new platform or channel to increase mall’s brand awareness.

6) To be proactive in diminishing any potential negative claims on the mall in social media and must react quickly to report the issues to PR Officer.

7) To assist in gathering and attending costumer’s complaints received online.

8) Consistently work with the marketing department (PR and Event) to get a better understanding on the short term and long-term marketing targets.

9) To propose the short – term and long-term marketing strategies to PR Officer and then develop content strategies accordingly.

Promoting/Marketing

1) Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages and public communications in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin languages.

2) Propose a planning on marketing strategies (quarterly) to PR Officer in order to increase the social media’s engagement and traffic reach.

3) Implement for all brand campaign, including advertisement, social media, mall branding, according to marketing direction prepared by PR Officer.

Producing Content

1) Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and others.

2) Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar. (KPI: Facebook & Instagram = 3 posts/day; FB Live: 3 Live session/ Week; TikTok: 2 posts/Week)

3) To responsible to promote happenings and shoplot within the shopping mall via #CPGoLIVE streaming.

4) Prepare pre-CPGolive monthly planning for PR Officer to review before doing the live streaming.

5) Produce and propose planning for online social media giveaways to PR Officer. Must execute the 5 giveaways within a year according on the marketing plan calendar, as well as assisting the design and procurement of item giveaways following on the PR yearly budget.
